At Stichting AYO-NAGOU, we believe that safety, understanding, and inclusion are essential. Tools such as the Autipas and Autism Passport can contribute to better communication, greater understanding, and a safer environment for people with autism.
🆔 Autipas
The Autipas helps people with autism quickly communicate that they have autism during unexpected or stressful situations. This can be important during contact with police, emergency services, schools, healthcare providers, or other institutions.
The card helps create more understanding, calmness, and safety.
The Autipas is available through the Dutch Association for Autism (NVA).

📘 Autism Passport
The Autism Passport is intended for daily and structured situations such as school, work, or support services. It provides insight into personal support needs, sensory sensitivities, communication, and structure.

🇪🇺 European Disability Card (from 2028)
The European Disability Card will be introduced across all EU countries from 2028 onward. This card aims to make it easier for people with disabilities to access support, accessibility services, and special facilities throughout Europe.
