Our purpose and activities
Our purpose is to promote the development, guidance and inclusion of children with autism and other developmental differences, while supporting their parents and caregivers. We work towards this purpose through family meetings, information and awareness activities, cooperation with relevant organisations, and inclusive activities for children and families. On 19 September 2026, we held our family day and official launch in Bergen op Zoom. Our plans also include a yearly bicycle ride for parents and children.
Policy plan
Our board has approved the Policy Plan 2026–2028. It describes our objectives, planned activities, sources of income, and how we manage and spend the foundation’s funds. We raise funds through donations, grants, sponsorships, permitted collections and the sale of products such as calendars, bags and clothing. The proceeds support our purpose. We do not distribute profits. The board manages the foundation’s funds through a bank account in the foundation’s name. Income and expenditure are recorded and supported by financial records. Funds are used for activities for children and families, information and awareness initiatives, accessible meetings, the planned bicycle ride, communications and necessary organisational costs. Any reserves are held for planned activities or a reasonable amount needed to continue our work.

Activities and financial accountability
The foundation records its income and expenditure and prepares an annual overview of its activities and finances. Our 2026 activities include the family day and official launch held on 19 September 2026. The activities report and financial statement for each completed financial year will be made available on this page.
ANBI status
Stichting AYO-NAGOU does not currently have ANBI status. We are preparing an application for recognition as a public benefit organisation (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, or ANBI) by the Dutch Tax Administration. We will update this page when a decision has been received.
